PROWIDE at 5th IODL conference in Turkey!

PROWIDE project was presented on a panel at the 5th International Open & Distance Learning Conference (IODL 2022), which was held by Anadolu University on September 28–30, 2022, in Eskisehir, Turkey. The title of the panel was "Online Proctoring Management for Just, Valid, and Reliable Online Assessment", which was organized in hybrid mode on September 28. The panel that was dedicated explicitly to the topic Online Proctoring had around 60 participants from different countries and institutions.

The moderator of the panel was Cengiz Hakan Aydin from Anadolu University. Thomas Fetsch from Proctorio attended the conference in-person and provided valuable insights into the recent trends of Online Proctoring. Other PROWIDE partners – among them Tim Brueggemann and Olga Zubikova (Fachhochschule des Mittelstands, Patriks Morevs (Liepaja University), Dario Assante (Uninettuno) –  virtually joined the conference and shared their experiences and outcomes that have been realized since the beginning of the PROWIDE Project

The direct positive effect after the PROWIDE presentation: 4 persons registered for the pilot edition of the training Online Proctoring Manager, which will start on October 17, 2022!

In total, 223 paper presentations, 7 panels, 3 sponsor presentations and 2 workshops took place at the event. More than 300 scholars from 20 countries worldwide attended the conference. The keynote speakers included Prof. Ojat Darojat, Prof. Mark Brown, Prof. Asha Singh Kanwar, Prof. Olaf Zawacki-Richter, Prof. Som Naidu and Prof. Chih-Hsiung Tu.
